DIPON® EPOXYPLAST 3D ist ein niedrigviskoses und hochtransparentes Epoxidharz mit einer exzellente UV-Beständigkeit für ein breites Anwendungsfeld wie z.B. hochtransparente Glasartige oder farbige künstlerische und dekorative Anwendungen. Von kleinsten Einbettungen und Untersetzern bis hin zu sehr großen transparenten Vergüßen wie z.B. River Tables oder großen transparenten Vergüßen. EPOXYPLAST 3D zeichnet seine exzellente Klarheit, UV-Stabilität, hervorragende Selbstentlüftung und einfache Handhabung aus.

Anwendungsgebiete

• Herstellung von Schmuck aus Silikonformen mit einer Vergusshöhe von 1 mm bis 20mm (höhere Gussmenge möglich in Abhängigkeit der Raumtemperatur und Materialmenge <19°C).
• Herstellung von Glas- und Carbonlaminaten oder Formen wo eine exzellente Transparenz erwartet/notwendig ist.

Anwendung:

EPOXYPLAST 3D wird in einem Mischungsverhältnis von 2:1 nach Gewicht in einem sauberen Behältnis exakt abgewogen. Dabei werden eine Waage und zwei Mischbecher benötigt um ein exaktes Verwiegen und Abmischen zu ermöglichen. Bitte mischen Sie keinesfalls nach Volumen, da dieses in einem fehlerhaften Ergebnis resultieren kann. Mischen Sie die A und B Komponente zunächst mit max. 300 Umdrehungen/Minute für ca. dreivier min. um. Im Anschluss wird die A+B Mischung in einen neuen sauberen Behälter umgetopft und erneut drei bis vier min. gemischt. Schaben Sie Teile des Harzes von den Rändern des alten Behältnisses ab und tropfen diese in das neue. Dieser Vorgang ist wichtig um ein möglichst homogenes Gemisch zu erhalten. Wichtiger Hinweis: Ein Vermengen der Gebinde A (Harz) und B (Härter) wird in einer nicht eintretenden vollen Aushärtung und entsprechend fehlerhaften Ergebnis resultieren. Ist Ihr Harz (A-Komponente) milchig, klumpig oder fest sein so handelt es sich hierbei um eine Kristallisation. Dieser Vorgang entsteht durch Kälte und wird durch ein Wasserbad (50-70°C) reversibel egalisiert. Lagern Sie das Harz verschlossen bei Raumtemperatur und vermeiden Temperaturstürze, hohe Feuchtigkeit sowie direkte Sonneneinstrahlung über einen längeren Zeitraum. Anwendungsratgeber: Grundieren Sie bei porösen oder saugenden Untergründen (z.B. Beton, Holz) stets mit EPOXYPLAST 3D B20, EPOXYPLAST 100 P oder HoneyResin® vor um eine Bläschenbildung durch emporsteigende Luft vom Untergrund zu vermeiden. Es wird empfohlen ein schnell härtendes System wie EPOXYPLAST 100 P oder HoneyResin® für die Grundierung zu nutzen. Beachten Sie das die maximale Gießhöhe ahängig vom eingesetzten Härter des EPOXYPLAST 3D Systems ist. Die Informationen zur maximalen Gusshöhe in abhängig des eingesetzten Härters und der Umgebungstemperatur finden Sie in unseren Handbüchern oder Produktdatenblättern unter www.dipon.de. Wichtiger Hinweis: Die empfohlene maximale Gusshöhe beträgt beim EPOXYPLAST 3D + EPOXYPLAST 3D B20 Härter zwei Zentimeter, beim EPOXYPLAST 3D B50 Härter fünf Zentimeter. Abhängig des Volumens ist es in Abhängigkeit der Raumtemperatur möglich höhere Vergüsse bis zu 35 cm in einem Stück mit dem EPOXYPLAST 3D B50 Härter (Raumtemperatur 15 Grad, Durchmesser 8 - 12 cm) zu realisieren. Wichtiger Hinweis: Je höher die Raumtemperatur und größer die abgemischte Menge desto geringer die mögliche Gusshöhe bei gleichbleibender Transparenz.

Bei Unterschreitung der Mindestmischmenge von 120 Gramm kann es zu einer erhöhten Aushärtungszeit kommen. Hierbei ist es auch möglich das eine nicht vollständig homogene Masse entsteht und die Exotherme zu gering ist damit das Werkstück vollständig aushärten kann. Die empfohlene Mindestmischmenge beträgt 90 Gramm (A 60 Gramm + B 30 Gramm), die empfohlene Menge beträgt 120 Gramm (80 Gramm A + 40 Gramm B).

• Pouring thickness (20°C): 0,1 cm - 2 cm (1 - 20 mm)
• Demoulding time (20°C): appr. 16 - 24 h.
• Minimum mixing quantity* A+B: 90 grams, recommended 120 grams (80+40).

If the minimum mixing quantity of 120 grams is not reached, the curing time may increase. In this case, it is also possible that a not completely homogeneous mass is produced and the exotherm is too low for the workpiece to cure completely.
