Was ist LuminaCast?

LuminaCast wurde entwickelt um ein konkurrenzlos klares, UV-Stabilisiertes und Selbsentlüftendes System zu erschaffen, welches einfach zu handhaben ist und möglichst viele Anwendungsbereiche, besonders im künstlerischen Bereich abdeckt. Bei allen Formulierungen wurde ein besonderes Augenmerk auf eine möglichst hohe Carbamtbeständigkeit durch modernste Rohstoffe und Zugabe von hydrophoben Zusätzen gelegt. Weiterhin wurden in diesem System neben den modernsten UV-Absorben und Lichtstabilisatoren ausschließlich Vergilbungsarme Basisamine im Härter und besonders UV-Beständige Additve hinzugefügt. LuminaCast ist für jeden Anwendungsbereich im Dekobereich ausgelegt, ob Grundieren, Tabletts, Möbel oder großvolumige Vergüsse. Mit einem Harz und zehn Härtern sind Sie maximal flexibel und können Ihrer kreativen Ader freien Lauf lassen!

LuminaCast (A Komponente: 730± 50 mPa*s, 23°C) besteht aus zehn Härtern und einem Harz:

• LuminaCast 1 Fast Set Primer (1 mm bis 7 mm) - (120  mPa*s ± 50) Niedrigviskos, Topfzeit, ca. 15 min., Übergießbar nach 60 - 120 min., ideal als Grundierung / Versiegelung von porösen Untergründen wie z.B. Holz
• LuminaCast 2 Coaster Cast (1 mm bis 15 mm) - (290  mPa*s ± 50) Niedrigviskos, Topfzeit ca. 40 min. ideal für dekorative hochtransparente Einbettungen und Formen
• LuminaCast 3 Crystal Flow (1 mm bis 10 mm) - (140  mPa*s ± 50) Besonders Niedrigviskos, Topfzeit ca. 35 min. ideal für dekorative hochtransparente Einbettungen und Formen

Anwendungsgebiete:

• Ideal für großformatige Projekte: LuminaCast 8 Table Cast ist speziell konzipiert für die Herstellung von imposanten River Tables und die Verwendung in großen Silikonformen. Es ermöglicht Vergusshöhen von mindestens20 mm bis zu 50 mm bei 20°C. Beachten Sie, dass höhere Gussmengen abhängig von der Raumtemperatur und Materialmenge möglich sind, sofern diese unter 20°C liegt.

Anwendung I Vorgehen:

LuminaCast 8 Table Cast wird in einem Mischungsverhältnis von 2:1 nach Gewicht oder sofern eine besonders hohe Festigkeit erreicht werden möchte, 100 : 40 nach Gewicht in einem sauberen Behältnis exakt abgewogen. Dabei werden eine Waage und zwei Mischbecher benötigt um ein exaktes Verwiegen und Abmischen zu ermöglichen. Bitte mischen Sie keinesfalls nach Volumen, da dieses in einem fehlerhaften Ergebnis resultieren kann. Mischen Sie die A und B Komponente zunächst mit max. 300 Umdrehungen/Minute für ca. drei bis vier min. um. Im Anschluss wird die A+B Mischung in einen neuen sauberen Behälter umgetopft und erneut drei bis vier min. gemischt. Schaben Sie Teile des Harzes von den Rändern des alten Behältnisses ab und tropfen diese mittig in das neue. Dieser Vorgang ist wichtig um ein möglichst homogenes Gemisch zu erhalten.

Wichtiger Hinweis: Ein Vermengen der Transportgebinde (Flaschen / Kanister) A (Harz) und B (Härter) wird in einer nicht eintretenden vollen Aushärtung und entsprechend fehlerhaften Ergebnis resultieren. Je höher die Raumtemperatur und größer die abgemischte Menge desto schneller die Exotherme Reaktion.

Wichtige Anwendungsdaten:

• Verarbeitungszeit (Topfzeit) bei 23°C (500 Gramm, 90 mm): ca. 180 Min
• tTmax (23°C, 500 Gramm, 90 mm) (Zeit zur maximalen Exothermie): ca: 360 min.
• Mischdauer: 3-4 min. + umtopfen und erneut 3-4 min.für ein möglichst homogenes Gemisch
• Mischungsverhältnis: 2:1 nach Gewicht oder 100:40 nach Gewicht für eine höhere Festigkeit
• Empfohlene Gussmenge (20°C): 2,0 cm - 5,0 cm (20 - 50 mm)
• Entformbar nach (23°C): ca. 72 - 96 Std. (5 cm, 500 Gramm)
• Nächste Schicht gießbar nach: ca. 28 - 36 Std. bei 20°C und 50 mm

What is LuminaCast?

LuminaCast was developed to create an unrivaled clear, UV-stabilized and self-venting system, which is easy to handle and covers as many application areas as possible, especially in the artistic field. In all formulations, special attention was paid to achieving the highest possible resistance to carbamate formations through the use of the latest raw materials and the addition of hydrophobic additives. Furthermore, in addition to the most modern UV absorbers and light stabilizers, only low-yellowing base amines in the hardener and particularly UV-resistant additives were added in this system. LuminaCast is designed for any application in the decorative sector, whether priming, trays, furniture or large-volume potting. With one resin and ten hardeners, you have maximum flexibility and can give free rein to your creative streak!

LuminaCast (A Component: 730± 50 mPa*s, 23°C) consists of ten hardeners and one epoxy:

Applications:

• Ideal for large-scale projects: LuminaCast 8 Table Cast is specially designed for the production of impressive River Tables and for use in large silicone molds. It allows potting heights of at least20 mm up to 50 mm at 20°C. Note that higher casting heights are possible depending on the room temperature and material quantity, provided it is below 20°C.

Instructions I How to use: 

LuminaCast 8 Table Cast is accurately weighed in a clean container at a mixing ratio of 2:1 by weight or, if particularly high strength is desired, 100 : 40 by weight. Do not mix by volume as this can result in an incorrect outcome. Mix components A and B initially at a maximum of 300 rotations/minute for approximately three to four minutes. The A+B mixture is then transferred to a new clean container and mixed again for three to four minutes. Scrape off parts of the resin from the edges of the old container and drop them into the new one. This process is essential to obtain a uniform mixture.

Important Note: Mixing the transport containers (bottles/canisters) of A (resin) and B (hardener) will result in incomplete curing and a correspondingly incorrect result.

Important Note:

The higher the room temperature and the larger the mixed amount, the faster the exothermic reaction.
